Rebbel in Perplexity
Add Rebbel, your AI marketing department, to Perplexity as a custom connector. Ask about your brands and draft posts in plain English — nothing publishes until you approve it.
Set up
Read this first. This is a custom connector you add yourself; Rebbel isn't one of the connectors Perplexity lists. We set it up on Perplexity Pro on the web. On a Free Perplexity account we checked, there was no Custom connector option.
https://app.rebbel.io/api/mcp- 1Open Connectors. On perplexity.ai, open Connectors, choose + Custom connector, then Add MCP connector.
- 2Name it and paste the URL. Name it Rebbel and paste the address above as the MCP server URL. Leave Authentication (under Advanced) on its default, OAuth, and leave Client ID and Client Secret blank.
- 3Accept the notice and add it. Tick Perplexity's risk acknowledgement and click Add.
- 4Open the Rebbel card and connect. Click the Rebbel card, then + Add connector inside the panel that opens. The + on the card only opens that panel; the connection starts from the button inside it.
- 5Sign in to Rebbel and approve. Rebbel's sign-in and consent page opens in a new tab. Sign in, approve access, and the Rebbel card shows a check mark.
- 6Use it in a thread. Type @Rebbel to pick the connector, then ask, like “list my Rebbel brands.” Before it drafts anything, Perplexity asks you to reply yes.
What we tested. On Perplexity Pro on the web we asked for our Rebbel brands, and got them, then asked for one draft post. Perplexity asked us to confirm, and Rebbel drafted the post and left it waiting for review. We haven't approved or published from inside Perplexity, and we haven't tried Enterprise or Perplexity's apps.
Your approval still decides. Perplexity's yes-check is Perplexity's. Rebbel's own rule is separate and always on: nothing publishes or spends until you approve it, checked on Rebbel's servers.

- Can Rebbel post from Perplexity without my approval?
- No. Anything that would publish or spend needs your explicit approval, checked on the server — asking from Perplexity follows the same rules as the dashboard.
- Which channels can Rebbel publish to from Perplexity?
- Rebbel's publishing tools act only on posts you've approved, checked on Rebbel's servers. From Perplexity we have tested listing brands and drafting a post (it waited for review). We haven't approved or published from inside Perplexity — you can do those in the Rebbel dashboard or another assistant.
- What can I ask Rebbel to do in Perplexity?
- In Perplexity we have tested two requests: listing your brands, and drafting a post for a brand. Perplexity asked us to confirm before it drafted. We haven't tried campaigns, approvals or publishing from Perplexity yet.
- Do I need a paid Perplexity plan to add Rebbel?
- We added Rebbel on a Perplexity Pro account. On a Free Perplexity account we checked, the Custom connector option wasn't there. We haven't tried Enterprise.
- Is Rebbel in Perplexity's connector list?
